Carter who was the Commissioner of Greenburgh Community Resources. Commissioner Carter was a hero in his community who continually sought to see the good in people, despite what their current circumstances, flaws, or past struggles may have been.  Commissioner Carter’s daily goal was to impact the lives of those around him in meaningful and positive ways, especially young people who he knew deserved the opportunity to realize and accomplish their dreams.

The William L. Carter Foundation has extended its mission internationally by aiding the Asukese Roman Catholic Basic School in Ghana, Africa. We are committed to aiding their efforts by bringing awareness to the school, and by donating the necessary resources to help their students succeed.

The local community established the Asukese Roman Catholic Basic School on August 25, 1953, to take care of the children’s educational needs within the local community. The church and the community members have pulled resources together to aid in the maintenance of the school, the resources they have acquired are not enough to sustain the school’s essential needs. Assistance will be used to complete a comprehensive rehabilitation of the school building. Furthermore, we hope your assistance will help us acquire essential infrastructural items, computers, mono, dual –desk, and many other items. These items will facilitate an effective teaching and learning environment. We believe your support will go a long way to motivate students to learn vigorously, while also create a lasting positive impact on their community. The school is well known in the municipal for its best performances in inter-school activities such as soccer competitions, athletics completion, quizzes, Independence Day parade, and many more.

Thank you. We are counting on your support.
